At any given time, we keep a flock of about 75-100 chickens and 4 very lucky roosters.  What do we do with all of those eggs you may ask??  Um, yea..  well.  Who cares about eggs anyway??  It's all about the chickens!

They will NOT get you sweet potatoes from someone that has their own flock, however.

We have a rainbow layer mix of the following types.

  -Americana

  -Australorp

  -Cornish

  -Leghorns (Brown, White)

  -Rhode Island Reds

  -Rocks (Barred, Partridge, White)

Oh, and I almost forgot..  a single (small-white-egg laying) Silver Spangled Hamburg that eluded us when we collected his buddies to give away.
